The on-line Queen Anne's Revenge Technical Report and
Bulletin Series has been developed to provide access to a large
number of in-house reports written by QAR staff and associates.
This effort will compliment nearly fifty articles that exist in
magazines, journals and book chapters. The Technical Series articles
will cover a wide range of activities and analyses including historical
research, environmental studies, archeological excavation and
site monitoring, artifact analysis, and conservation.

The
classification designates works that are more comprehensive
where extensive research has been done and conclusions reached.

The
classification represents shorter works covering preliminary
analysis of individual artifacts, classes of artifacts, field
expeditions, or technical data.
By using an on-line publication, format reports can be updated
with addendums or by linking new bulletins to the original works.
This serves an important function since the influx, synthesis
of data is ongoing, and thus site interpretation will continue
to evolve.
While the Technical Series is produced "in-house,"
all works are peer-reviewed and carefully scrutinized by a three-person
editorial committee for accuracy, consistency, and formatting,
following a general SAA format. The series is made available in
Adobe Acrobat PDF format (version 5+) and is fully printable at
high-resolution, but locked for copying, pasting, or editing.
All work represents original research by individual authors and
should be credited as such.
