A variety of brass scale weights have been recovered that might have been used to measure small amounts of gold or gold coins, as well as powders for medicine. These include nesting cups and a coin weight with the likeness of Queen Anne. Other examples have been identified as probably apothecary weights due to the various symbols they exhibit. |
