Three brick or tile fragments and two possible brick/tile fragments have now been recovered from the QAR site. The occurrence of the brick/tiles, found in the Forward Hold area of the wreck, indicates the brick/tile elements could have served as insulation for the wooden ship from the cooking heat of the galley stove.
