| Two types of suspected
lead fishing weights have been recovered. There is also the possibility
that these weights were used as counter-balances for scales, or
plumb bobs for surveying. The second type forms a rolled tube and
is more likely to be net sinkers. Forty of these were found in close
association on the shipwreck. |
