Cannon 2 is a cast iron 6-pounder measuring 7.5 feet from the rear of the base ring to the face of the muzzle. The reinforces are distinct, typifying the "three frustums (sic) of the cones" construction described by John Muller. Reprint of the 1780 A Treatise of Artillery.

There is a good probability the gun was produced in England. If the gun was English made, the lack of chase astragal suggests a production date prior to 1716.
