| Single sherds represent two separate vessels with bowl forms, which were likely associated with the preparation and serving of food, namely, stews, gruels, or soups. One bowl exhibits a marbled slip decoration under a lead glaze on earthenware and appears to have originated in northern Italy or southern France. The second bowl has a distinctive flattened rim tooled edge and the overall green slip lead glaze indicates the bowl was made in southwestern France. |
