| It is logical to assume that if a ship carried cannon there would be associated ammunition. Forty-two iron shot have been recovered as well as thousands of lead shot that may have used as cannon bag shot and/or for personal firearms. Other iron cannon shot include a bar-type shot, a double-headed shot, a 3-pounder hammer shot and iron bolt langrage. A large amount has been found on this shipwreck site and includes over dozens of iron cannon shot, tens of thousand of lead shot, and several hand grenades. |
